The European Training Network for Industry Digital Transformation across Innovation Ecosystems, also known as EINST4INE, is a consortium of 7 European academic and non-academic beneficiaries (RMIT Europe, Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT, Aarhus University, University of Cambridge, University of Stuttgart, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli), plus 2 academic and 15 industry partners working in the domain of industrial digital transformation.

EINST4INE is a €4M Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie action addressing to develop new concepts, approaches and methods in the area of digital transformation and brings together a unique group of world-leading experts in the areas of Open Innovation, Industry 4.0, digital transformation and innovation ecosystems.

EINST4INE’s recruitment campaign (application deadline  25/04/2021 20:00 – Europe/Athens) see the appointment of 15 high-performing, early-stage researchers ready to tackle the real-world challenges faced by industry by expanding their expertise in innovation and technology management. In particular, EINST4INE has two great PhD opportunities available based in Pisa, Italy. Project 2: The research will explore the interaction and complementarities between automation (including social/collaborative robots) and human-machine cooperation. This ESR project will explore and pilot novel approaches to digitize human work and their effects on individual and organisational performance.

Project 3: The research will be dedicated to understanding the interaction models of collaborative robots in organisations. This ESR project will examine the effect of the introduction of social and collaborative robots on individual workers and, more in general, the main opportunities and challenges at the organisational level.
